Romans 7

Why is sin so pleasurable and yet so painful? How can I overcome my sins? Will I ever be free from these feelings of guilt, shame and pain? And, by the way, why do I keep doing the same stupid things I don’t want to do? Life is a struggle because we have missed the mark and are paying the price. Lost: The Lost Unlucky Man

Job 1

Why do bad things happen to good people? Why do bad things happen to me? Is God punishing me? Am I cursed? Is it Karma? If there is a God, why doesn’t he do something about all the starving and abused children in the world? If he is loving, he would want to stop injustice. And if he was almighty, he would step in and do so. So, since bad things keep happening, some people claim that either he is too weak to respond or not loving at all! It sounds like infallible logic until you understand the grand plan of God.

Genesis 39

Do you think everything happens for a reason? Even bad things? What if the people that you thought you could trust betrayed you. What if life conspired against you and left you crippled, imprisoned, alone and devastated? What if you had no idea why these things happened to you? There seems to be no rhyme nor reason for anything. Your world is is nothing like you expected. Do you think that things happen for a reason? Is God in control, or is the universe controlled by blind fate, dumb luck, accident or coincidence?

Acts 17:16-34

Do you really know God? It’s a tragedy that there would be anyone in the world today who does not know enough about God to know him. Everyone should know God. The problem of our world today is that the popular ideas of God are false and empty. Thomas once said to Jesus, “Master, show us the father.” Jesus said, “He who has seen me has seen the Father.” Jesus is the way to the father. If you know Jesus, you Know God, if you don’t know Jesus, you will never know God.
