Bracing yourself for rejection

When was the last time you invited someone to church? That’s not too difficult is it? Inviting someone to church? Or does the thought of extending an invitation bring fear to your heart. If you fear rejection, you are not alone. According to research, most Americans have never been invited to church—never, ever. So how important is our faith? Is the issue of eternal life and the Christian life essential or just a just a nice add on. I think you know the answer. The goal of this message today is that we would move beyond fear of rejection and begin to extend a simple cordial invitation to our acquaintances.
