What’s so bad about a little white lie? Our society has been teaching that the end justifies the means; That lying is ok as long as you don’t get caught; That truth is appropriate if it is convenient or to your advantage, otherwise a little white lie is just as good; That the values of truth and honesty are not essentially better than fabrication or lies. When the foundation is crumbling the edifice is about ready to fall.
